An experiment
I have it on excellent authority that some babies will just sit and play happily in their cots while one gets on with household chores. So we gave it a go...
So far so good! He has been in there for about twenty seconds.

Is taking a shower a household chore?
With a pile of books and a wooden puzzle Laura will be quite happy for 10-15 minutes. Have to ignore her totally though, if she hears me coming closer or catches sight of me then she'll shout to be let out.
